Quick Sayings
Saturday, September 20th, 2008These “Quick Sayings” were written a long time ago. I’m posting them here for the memories. I have included the dates so you can see when they were written. I don’t know where they came from, either if they were something I may have heard or read, or if they just came out of the recesses of my mind.

Reality is the figment of someone’s overactive imagination. We are just caught in the middle.

Life is short. Death is forever.
Intelligence is a birthright. Stupidity is learned.
Life is like a broken record that keeps playing over and over.
Children are teddy bears. Old men are grizzly bears.
The unknown dwarves: Sickly, Wheezy, Queasy, Crude, Crabby, Horny and Corny.
Life is like a bird; the thrill of flight, and the mess on your car.
“True freedom is in total bondage.” — A masochist’s proverb.
“Surgeon General’s Warning — Smoking may cause spontaneous combustion.” — The seldom seen cigarette warning.
Life is like a cherry. It tastes good, but don’t choke on the pit.

Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, it will achieve.
Learn everything, believe nothing.
The heart knows the truths that the mind refuses to believe.

The journey is only half the fun.
Let the mind rest, listen to the heart.
The mind contemplates, the heart conceives.
Imagine a new world.
